Drawing from the founder’s Greek origins, Kouta means crate. Quite an obvious name when you know what it means, right?
Frequently asked questions
Where is Kouta made?
Kouta is hand-built in Montreal, Canada.
What is the finish on my Kouta?
The kits are stained used water-based stains, allowing the grain of the wood to shine through. They are then hand-varnished 3 times to a satin finish.
Can I take my Kouta as carry-on luggage?
Although we specifically designed Kouta to be the size of a carry-on, the drum is not TSA approved. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that the drum will come into the cabin with you, but you can always check-it in!
Can I order a custom color or additional features?
Just get in touch with us and we will do our best to accommodate your needs. We are always looking to improve and add features.
When will my drum arrive?
Depending on where you are in the world, it could take a few days to a couple of weeks from the moment your Kouta is shipped. We do not have control over the shipping, but we will do our best to keep you up to date.
